* The quality of this bag definitely matches the price. It's not cheap but Oakley bags never are. Stitching it's basically flawless, materials are first rate. All the hardware in the bag (buckles, D rings, zippers) has a very solid look and feel.
* Plenty of room. I was looking for a bag that could fit my 17" gaming laptop and this one got the job done with no issues. The 3 external pouches provide additional room for anything else you may need to carry with you.
* There is a lot of padding for your laptop. The laptop compartment has padding, but inside of it there is a removable laptop pouch that's also padded. In addition, this inner pouch has a pull-handle to simplify removal. That said, your hardware its protected by a double layer of padding. I'm always extra-careful with all my gear, specially my electronics, so I don't expect to be dropping the bag with the laptop inside but should the unthinkable happen, I'm pretty sure there is plenty of protection for a moderate corner-impact (the most damaging to any device).
* It's definitely the real deal. There are other so called "tactical laptop bags", but they are just smaller, cheaper copies of this one. Straps, external pouches, custom D-rings and some additional goodies that are not easily seen in the pictures make this bag a true utilitarian/tactical bag. Needless to say, I'm very happy with it.
Cons
* It's kind of pricey. If you are on a tight budget I guess you will look somewhere else.
* The carry-handle on top of if does not have any padding at all. It's just a flat nylon strap with re-enforcement stitching on the sides. It kind of took me by surprise. If you carry it by the handle for a very long period of time, it will become uncomfortable. Personally I'm planning to add some black paracord wrapping to the handle to have a thicker, more comfortable handle.
Summary
I really like this bag. I found this Oakley one almost by chance as it is already discontinued, but if you manage to get your hands on one of them you will be very satisfied with it.
